How it Works: 

Twelve volunteer chefs (or teams of chefs) will showcase their culinary prowess in a thrilling head-to-head competition. Each contender will be paired up against another, with a secret ingredient revealed to them only weeks before the event. Each chef will craft a tantalizing tasting menu featuring 3-5 dishes, each incorporating the secret battle ingredient. Unlike the televised version, our Iron Chef event doesn't involve on-site cooking; instead, chefs come prepared with their pre-made dishes. These dishes will be served in small portions (think bite-sized) to our eager attendees once the event kicks off. Our panel of esteemed judges will have the honor of tasting the creations first and selecting a winner for each pair based on taste, creativity, and presentation. To add some extra competition to the event, attendees will also have the opportunity to cast their votes for the "people's choice" chef using their hard-earned dollar bills.

Local CHEFS will test their luck in battles for frivolous prizes and serious bragging rights.
Local JUDGES will determine the winners of each ingredient battle and Best Overall Dish.
