SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Tenant Resource Center is coming to Sun Prairie, and the city is hoping it will provide needed housing resources to the community.
TRC is a Wisconsin nonprofit that focuses on providing resources for renters.
The City of Sun Prairie announced Friday that the nonprofit would be offering a variety of resources for Sun Prairie renters, including housing counseling, eviction prevention, housing mediation and more.
“It is my hope that all who desire to call Sun Prairie home can do so without barriers and enjoy the high quality of life we strive to provide,” Mayor Paul Esser said. “Incorporating support and services from the Tenant Resource Center is a step in the right direction to achieving that.”
The move comes from a collaboration with Sunshine Place, an organization that provides food, clothing, beds and social services in Sun Prairie, the org explained.
City Housing Committee members and Sunshine Place have been working on the project for almost a year, officials said.
TRC will be centered in Sunshine Place, found at 1632 W Main St, Suite 170. For more information about services, call 608-708-6008 or email [email protected].
